I approached this painting by covering half of my canvas in vivid maroon and the other half in deep blue liquid acrylic ink. I then layered in paint from dark colors to light colors, which created a deep and dramatic effect. Some have commented that it appears luminous. Some have commented that they see a romantic garden, others see the ocean. I see both. What do you see?
This painting is made using the acrylic paints on gallery wrapped canvas, varnished to protect it from dust and sunlight. Signed on the front, titled and dated on the back. Arrives wired and ready to hang. 24" x 20" x 1.5" Certificate of authenticity included. Sides of canvas are painted a neutral color that harmonizes with the colors of the painting.
