During a difficult time in my life, I rented 2 rooms in a little house in the middle of nowhere. The town was run down and boarded up, and there was literally nothing to do, except sit in the park with its massive trees and watch the wildlife on the river. Rain or shine, I visited the river every day. I learned to listen to and trust God as he stripped away so much of me that was unnecessary. It was the most cleansing experience in my life.
