I recently created a series of paintings that celebrate my favorite flowers that inspire me. Roses, peonies, crape myrtle trees and white apple blossoms. There is truly something amazing about standing under an apple tree in the springtime, gazing at the snowy white petals against a blue sky as the petals flicker down around you like snow. Cherries, pears, apples, plums and lilacs all flower simultaneously in Chicago. The fragrance is intoxicating. I oftentimes will cut branches during my walks to bring inside. "Snowy White Blossoms" was created with the finest quality acrylic paint on fine gallery wrapped canvas and is sealed with several coats of varnish to protect it from dust and sunlight. 24" x 30" x 1.5". Arrives wired and ready to hang and includes a certificate of authenticity.
